This residence provides both a dramatic presentation to the public spaces to the rear and front yards as well as providing a secluded private courtyard for its occupants in response to the desires of the client and the character established by the guidelines.

The dwelling was designed with two distinct zones separated by a stairwell and a bridge over the entry. The primary living zone located on the first floor with access to a spacious north orientated deck providing indoor / outdoor living. A private master suite was located above the garage providing a complete private retreat. Ground floor was designed to be semi self-contained to provide flexible options for the owners. Siting and design of the project was critical to allow for good passive solar design, cross ventilation and to maximise views to the northern orientated golf course.
