13th Beach Surf Life Saving Club, first-floor extension and upgrade of the facilities. The works involved remodelling the ground floor, including a new building entry and a new open plan training area with associated kitchen and bathroom facilities to the upper level. The new lift provides universal access to the first floor and the two new deck.

The project was subject to the Marine & Coastal Act (MACA) and was designed to comply with the current Siting and Design Guidelines for structures on the Victorian Coastline. The project was presented to the Victorian Government Architect and gained universal approval from the panel, which noted the design provided a "… crisp and strong, modest and well-detailed building". It was also pointed out by the DELWP representative, Franca De Luca, that the proposal was one of the most responsive submissions they had received concerning the Coastal Siting Design guidelines.
