This project included the upgrade and updating of the original heritage home on a large sloping lot in Newtown, Geelong.   A generous single storey contemporary rear extension has been added with detached garage across the rear boundary.

The extension is concealed from view
from the street with the new living area extending outside to the private garden area. The raked ceiling in the living area provides generous volume, with northern glazing at the upper level.  This ensures light penetrates deeply into the
living room in winter while eaves provide passive protection from the summer sun.
